Movie Poster

In 2019 we were given the challenge to design a randomly selected movie poster using a randomly chosen design style. My selected movie was Quentin Tarantino’s “Kill Bill” and my design style was 1960’s Pop Art.

Following Roy Lichtenstein’s distinctive style of pop art, I created a design using repurposed comic book panels, from popular teenage comics of the period such as Girls’ Love. The final design is a combination of vector and hand-drawn art, using Adobe Illustrator for vector and iOS Procreate for the hand-drawn elements.
